Seletti White Monkey Lamp – Indoor Resin Lamp by Marcantonio

Also available in Black, for indoor and outdoor use.

The Seletti White Monkey Lamp is an indoor resin lamp by Marcantonio and one of Seletti's most famous designs. Each monkey is sculpted in fine detail and holds an exposed bulb, as if it has climbed in from the jungle and borrowed your lighting. Choose from six poses: standing, sitting, hanging from the left or right hand, dangling from the ceiling or perched on a swing. The soft white finish looks almost like porcelain and lets the detail of the sculpture shine.

Styling suggestions

Stand him on a sideboard, console or floor beside a sofa, or sit him on a bookshelf where he can watch the room. The hanging monkeys look brilliant climbing up a wall or a stairwell, and the swing and ceiling versions turn a corner or a high ceiling into a talking point. Mix several poses together for a mischievous troop, and pair with other Seletti favourites such as the Mouse Lamp.

Why we like it

Very few lamps make everyone who walks into a room stop and smile, and the Monkey Lamp does it every time. It is playful without being silly, beautifully made, and has become a true design icon.
