Details
The House Doctor Forms Black Earthenware Figure Sculpture, 22cm is a handmade seated figure art object with a calm, contemplative pose.
A figure sits with knees drawn up and arms wrapped around them, head resting forward, shaped in earthenware with a textured matt black finish that shows the marks of the maker. Each one is handmade, so no two are quite the same. Pair it with the taller 25cm Forms figure for a thoughtful shelf vignette.
Styling Suggestions
- Perch on a stack of art books on a coffee table or console
- Group with stoneware vases and a candle holder on an open shelf
- Display alongside the 25cm Forms figure as a pair
Why We Like It
Figurative pieces are having a real moment, and this one feels gentle rather than grand. The black finish suits both pale Scandinavian rooms and darker, moodier schemes, and it makes a lovely gift for anyone who loves art objects.
