A candle that looks like a piece of charred timber, as much sculpture as light.
The Coal Figure Candle in Black by Broste Copenhagen takes its cue from raw wood and burnt tree trunks. Its deeply textured, bark-like surface and inky black finish give it a bold, artistic presence, whether it is lit or simply sitting on a shelf.
Choose from three heights, 10cm, 15cm or 20cm, or group all three together for a staggered display.
Styling Suggestions
- Cluster all three heights on a tray for a dramatic centrepiece
- Contrast with pale stoneware, woven baskets or dried grasses
- Set on a coffee table beside books and natural objects
- Stand on the Sonja Pedestal in Off White for a gallery-style display
Why We Like It
It brings a touch of the outdoors in without being rustic or twee. The texture is wonderful up close, and a group of three has real impact for very little effort.
